Your Questions About Swimming Pools Lyrics

Chris asks…

Can you make a good amount of hits on Youtube by singing songs?

I just did a Youtube video. I sung a song by Kendrick Lamar, Swimming Pools, and I was wondering could I get some good hits. Like maybe over 50? I’m just starting out. All I did was sing over the song. Not my own lyrics. Also how can I get a good mic so my audio won’t sound that bad. But good?

Mike Rich answers:

If you sang over the song (had the song playing in the background), it probably won’t become very popular.

You have to buy a mic. Search for stores that sell them and then go to that store directly.

If you want a lot of hits, you should cover songs that are in the top 100 list as well as songs you like personally. You should learn an instrument and play it along with your singing. The guitar is relatively easy to learn, and costs less than a piano or keyboard (usually).

Singing covers on youtube can get you a lot of hits if you do them well. Your own songs have more trouble getting out because nobody is searching for them.

Your Questions About Swimming Pools

Laura asks…

Where is a good site to get some basic info on above ground swimming pools?

Is there a good internet site to get basic info on above ground swimming pools. Like what to look for when buying a pool, what type of filtration to use, price guidelines. I know nothing about what it would take to install a pool, or how much it would cost, and am just looking for a good jumping off point.

Mike Rich answers:

For starters just do a quick search on Google for information about above ground swimming pools. You can even search article directories and find good resources their. You can also search YouTube and learn all about above ground pools and even watch videos on how to maintain them. Just remember that above ground pools are more prone to leaks. If that is the case you need a leak professional. I had a leak and used and they guy was amazing. So just keep that in mind so a year down the road when you have a leak you aren’t surprised.

Your Questions About Ironman Triathlons

James asks…

What are some of the best techniques to use when training for an Ironman?

Eventually, after I graduate from college I would like to compete in an Ironman Triathlon. I am wondering what kinds of training tips I should keep in mind that might help me for the actual event…or any tips that I should keep in mind for that matter. All info would be helpful!

Mike Rich answers:

You need to be able to switch between the various disciplines so you need to train that way.

You do not need to train like you would for just one sport. Know that the 3 do complement each other so you do not need spend lots of time training (unless you plan on earning a living from this).

Many books out on the market can help you get started.

Also check your equipment out. Make sur eyou have a proper bike that is fitted to you, you have a good swim-technique, and good running shoes.

Only other thing I can advise is get ready to lay out a lot of money for this sport. But once you do, other things are just add-on’s so you do not need to spend as much.
